Dr. Williamson is a native Texan and graduate of Texas A&M University. He received his D.D.S. from The University of Texas Health Science Center Houston. He maintained a solo general practice in College Station for 17 years before returning to graduate school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Lincoln. Dr. Williamson holds a certificate in prosthodontics and an M.S. in Oral Biology; he is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists. Dr. Williamson lectures nationally and internationally to universities, study groups, societies and dental laboratory associations on complete denture, removable partial denture, implant prosthodontic care and other restorative options. He is also an American Dental Association CELL Seminar Series Speaker. Currently, Dr. Williamson is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Family Dentistry. The majority of his teaching time is devoted to senior pre-doctoral students in both didactic and clinical training.
Dr. Williamson provides fixed, removable and implant prosthodontic care in a University of Iowa-based dental practice.
